![]() Download and Installation are handled by Output Hub.PRO TIP: Use Hub for downloading and installing each Instrument: Only use Native Access to REGISTER and LOCATE each Instrument. This article details the process for downloading and activating your Output Instruments using Output Hub. I'll create a new thread so it doesn't derail from the OP.Applies to: Rev, Rev X-Loops, Signal, Exhale, Substance, Analog Strings, Analog Brass & Winds. Thanks for the replies, I'll try your recommendations tomorrow. I've registered and tried to run them both as standalone before trying in Reaper. Yes, I've installed everything in the bundle, just the 2 items to load, it says nothing left to install. I hate to insult you, but are you perhaps trying to do things the hard way, and not just loading the instrument from the Kontakt library browser? Or have a look at the Repair and Reinstall functions in Native Access: Free Reaktor Instruments (Blocks Wired and Mikro Prism): Kontakt Factory Selection (the second download in the link): If this still doesn't solve the problem, you can also try to download things separately: Also make sure to launch the Standalone applications at least once (for database initialization, etc.) before using them as plugin inside Reaper. I'm assuming you already entered the serial for the Komplete Players (which you got per email) in Native Access: Are there perhaps still some products listed in the 'Not Installed' Tab? The Komplete Player bundle should include all 3 players (Kontakt, Reaktor, Guitar Rig) + sample content (mainly Kontakt Factory instruments) in one package. Which products are currently listed in Native Access (in the 'Not Installed' and 'Installed Products' Tabs)? There are zero samples in the entire Native Instruments folder, despite their claim of '600 MB samples for free'. I tried this, I ended up with Kontakt 5 and Reaktor 6. And too bad being fully Kontakt-compatible raises the price of plugins, since that privilege is not free for developers. OTOH, the much maligned "Play" software from EastWest and a few other Kontakt-free VSTs manage to do some useful things that Kontakt can't. There's a lot to be said for consistency among plugins. I know several people who restarted their installations several times due to apparent software hangs, which probably weren't.Īnd I have yet to hear back on my plea for help from NI support. The only way I knew it was working was by watching files appear in Windows File Explorer. During those hours the install program simply looked dead, zero progress bars or any indication that the software was actually running. To this day I don't understand why it took 8 hours just to install the "previews" which to be honest I often find less than useful. Oh, and installing Ultimate took 15 hours, even thought I had a 30 megabytes/second internet connection and "most" of the software on a hard disc. The installation paradigm is not at first clear. Somehow I got through it, but it was no fun. And just about anything I did got me an error message. Native Access was asking for a password, which could have been any one of the several different passwords that had come with the free Kontakt player, Native Accesse's own installation password, and my first VST password. I had about 8 NI browser windows open with slightly conflicting instructions. I've got 73 Kontakt VSTs and the last 72 were easy.
